After being in the education space for more than 28 years, Dr. Toni Riester-Wood knew she wanted to get involved in Skill Struck’s mission to create opportunities for all students to learn computer science and equip them to have an impact on the world. As Skill Struck’s new advisor, she will be facilitating CS Education Think Tanks and CS Coalitions across the nation.

Elementary School Embraces Fully-Virtual Learning Environment
During the COVID pandemic, most schools have transitioned to some form of hybrid virtual learning. Many schools are now trying to slowly transition back to in-person learning. But, Rocky Peak Virtual Elementary, a school in the Jordan School District, has taken a different approach. They’re planning on utilizing virtual learning—indefinitely.
